Hodge Station, now Hodge yard was a stop on the St Louis Southwestern (SSW) commonly known as the Cotton Belt. The yard is currently used by the Fort Worth & Western RR.

A "Tower" in railroad terms is a control point used to manage the crossing of multiple railroad tracks. Towers are normally, but not always, buildings that house the controls to realign switches for the movement of trains. Tower 60 controlled all tracks coming into North Fort Worth. In its last years, the Tandy Center Subway system was used not only to provide transportation for shoppers to get from the huge parking lot to the Tandy Center, but it was also used by Tarrant County jurors to park their cars for free and then ride at no cost to the courthouse. Today jurors park at LaGrave Field and ride the city bus for free to the courthouse.

Four people died here on June 16, 2004 in the active pool. The park was closed untill March 4, 2007, when it was reopened after being made safer by reducing the depth of the active pool from 9 ft. to 2 ft.

The plant has been operated by Consolidated Vultee, Convair, General Dynamics, and now Lockheed Martin. Aircraft manufactured at this plant throughout its history include the B-24 Liberator, B-36 Peacemaker, B-58 Hustler, F-111 Aardvark and the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Production will begin soon on the bulk of the F-35 Lightning II (JSF).

Live theater. Name is Spanish for "House of Tomorrow." Famous for its geodesic-dome roof. Used to be a theater in the round but remodeled a couple of years ago into a standard theater layout.
