So...rough chronology is Skaggs Alpha Beta, then Jewel-Osco (briefly), then Albertsons from 1992 to about 1995, then The Max (c. 1996?), then Winn-Dixie from 1997 to 2002 (as W-D pulled out in 2002), then Kroger 2005-2007?

Is Luther Lake only for the residents or are non-residents allowed to walk around and enjoy the lake?
  • Luther Lake, Lisa (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
I live on Luther Lake. We feel very fortunate to have such a peaceful place to live right in the middle of town. The neighborhood is wonderful and so close to everything. Wildlife watching is great, the resident geese and ducks and migratory ducks are a lot of fun. The Christmas season is especially beautiful !
  • Wedgwood Country Club/Wedgwood Methodist Church (demolished), Mark Renshaw (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
Wedgwood United Methodist was dissolved and the remaining membership moved to Genesis United Methodist Church several blocks away. There was never a golf course on the 9 acre property. The church was started and pastored by Rev. Don F. Renshaw Jr. in 1965.

Folks interested in obtaining photos of this airport, they are available from the Univ. of Texas library in Arlington, TX. Check with SPECIAL COLLECTIONS up on the sixth floor. They have a number of black and white and some color images of this airport in their collection. A charge of $10 per print is charged for personal use. Well worth the visit if you have an interest in this airport. Terminal torn down August 1980. Nothing left of this once interesting airport.

Not just a secret room in the garage, but a bookcase in either a bedroom or study opened to another small room. There was also a safe somewhere in the house. I think there was at least 3 secret rooms in that house.
